Height Adjustment

The blade height above the substrate is adjusted manually on the coating head using the mechanical adjustment knobs. The height can be checked against a plastic color coded shim.

Note that the number on the display is amount of turns of the knob, not the actual distance between the blade and the substrate. The actual distance can be checked with the table below.
